2021 Back To School Vaccination Events Start This Saturday

Reno/Sparks, Nev. July 28, 2021 – The Washoe County Health District – Immunization Program, Community Health Alliance (CHA) and Immunize Nevada are hosting three Back To School Vaccination Events starting Saturday, July 31.

The immunizations are required for students at Washoe County schools and serve as protection from various communicable diseases. The vaccines, which include DTap/DT, IPV, MMR and more, will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Health District, 1001 E. 9th St., Building B lobby. See map here. The Back To School immunizations will be administered in private patient rooms inside the clinic.

The event will be held the next three Saturdays, and insurance is not required. Appointments are not required but encouraged, and can be made by going to this website, or call 775-328-2402.

All vaccines will be administered inside the Health District physical location and not the drive-through operation. On a separate note, COVID-19 vaccines will also be available for anyone 12 years and older.
