Reno, Nevada. Feb. 9, 2016 – The Friends of ArrowCreek LLC announced today that on January 28, 2016 it paid off the remaining balance of the $1,451,844.44 total due to Washoe County. This payment represented the final payment of a debt, which was accrued when the Friends of ArrowCreek acquired The Club at ArrowCreek. The Club at ArrowCreek was awarded to the Friends of ArrowCreek from the Federal Bankruptcy Court in October 2014.

“We are very pleased to have accomplished this milestone within our first 16 months of operation,” Gary Pestello, member manager of the Friends of ArrowCreek, said. ”This continues to solidify our property values in ArrowCreek and The Club at ArrowCreek, which is the center piece of the community.”

“We are very excited about the growth of The Club at ArrowCreek and we are looking forward to continuing our pace of growth in the years to come,” said Jayson Petersen, General Manager of The Club at ArrowCreek.

Washoe County Commissioner Bob Lucey added, “The Friends of ArrowCreek have been providing me with updates leading up to this date. They have stayed true to their commitment that this debt would be eliminated. I am excited for the future of the ArrowCreek community and the value it adds to the Truckee Meadows.”

The ArrowCreek community is located in South Reno and consists of a master planned community and two golf courses with clubhouse. Arnold Palmer Golf Management oversees the clubhouse and both private golf courses. The legendary Palmer was the designer of the Legend Course, while the Challenge Course was designed by John Harbottle and 1979 Masters champion Fuzzy Zoeller.
