MEDIA ADVISORY: More protections to be added around Swan Lake

Reno, Nev. April 2, 2019. Washoe County will be installing additional protections on Pompe Way in the form of temporary inflatable dams to provide added security for the residents in the area. As directed by the Board of County Commissioners, the inflatable dams are a part of the overall strategy for managing and maintaining the barrier system surrounding Swan Lake.
Visible work along Pompe Way will begin as soon as Wednesday, April 3, 2019.
