Reno, Nevada. Oct. 17, 2016. After traveling more than 1,100 miles around northern Nevada, the Nevada Discovery Ride team is preparing to return to Reno. Samantha Szesciorka,  her horse Sage, and her dog Bella, set out from the geographic center of Nevada on August 10, 2016. For nearly three months the trio has been trekking across northern Nevada, exploring mountain ranges, forgotten historical trails, and small remote communities. The adventurers endured wild weather, wild animals, and wild terrain, but had incredible adventures along the way.
The public is invited to be there to cheer the team into Reno as they end their epic equestrian journey. The Nevada Discovery Ride team will arrive at the Lemmon Valley Horseman’s Arena on Sunday, October 23 at 1:00pm.
