Stuff-A-Bus for Seniors on May 30

Reposted on behalf of the Regional Transportation Commission
Reno, Nevada. May 26, 2017. The RTC is proud to be partnering with the City of Reno, Washoe County Senior Services and the Reno Aces Baseball Club for Stuff-A-Bus for Seniors. Together, the partners are collecting needed donations for seniors in our community and everyone can help by either dropping off new, unused items in a donation barrel throughout the Truckee Meadows or at the Stuff-A-Bus for Seniors event at Greater Nevada Field from 4 pm to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30th. Everyone who donates at the event will receive a buy-one get-one ticket deal for the Reno Aces or Reno 1868 FC!  The Aces have a home game that evening and it’s the perfect opportunity to help out a senior in need while enjoying baseball.
Only NEW, unused items are being accepted. Needed items include: jackets, fans, coats, sweatpants, toiletries, adult diapers, grocery store or pet store gift cards and transit passes. For a complete list of items requested, and donation barrel locations, go to: http://reno.gov/seniorgiving.
