The Washoe County Community Services Department’s Planning and Building Division is hosting a public workshop regarding proposed amendments to Washoe County Code Chapter 110 (Development Code) relating to:
Article 606 – Parcel Maps, to require approval of a tentative subdivision map for any subsequent division of land within 5 years; and
Article 916 – Establishment of Committees, to clarify the members of the Parcel Map Review Committee and define a process of appointment of those members; and

Article 106 – Master Plan and Regulatory Zones, to clarify densities in medium density suburban and medium density suburban 4, neighborhood commercial, general commercial within the context of the 2019 Regional Plan; and
Article 406 – Building Placement Standards, to set allowable densities for Continuum of Care Facilities within the Regional Land Designations; and
Article 902– Definitions, to define Region Land Designation.

Washoe County staff will be available to discuss the proposed amendments from 5:30 pm to 7:00 p.m. Following public input, the amendments will be discussed by the Washoe County Planning Commission. The public hearings are tentatively scheduled for the April 6, 2021 Planning Commission meeting starting at 6:30 p.m.
