Reno, Nevada. July 6, 2017. Washoe County is teaming up with several local agencies for the #TruckeeRiverSafe campaign, aimed at warning the public about the dangers of playing in the Truckee River this summer. Every day during the month of July, one of our local agencies will post a river safety message. Messages will include river rescue/safety videos (PSAs), tips for staying safe, links to news releases and news clips.
We ask everyone to share these posts on Facebook and retweet on Twitter with friends and family.
